Plan 1819Herringbone A.I. Breeding Chute
This is an A.I. (Artificial Insemination) breeding chute for handling larger herds of beef cows, or where estrus synchronization is used to bring a lot of cows into heat near the same time. The idea of arranging the breeding stalls in a "herringbone" pattern comes from the ranches of California and allows one man to easily handle the cows by himself. The number of stalls can be increased or decreased without affecting the design.
