Weathervane Mineral Feeder

This useful item of feed lot or pasture equipment is assembled from common hardware items including a standard steel drum and used automobile parts. Wind rotates the drum so that rain is not driven into the feeding opening. The drum pivots on a sturdy concrete base which must be heavy enough to prevent overturning by cattle or wind storms. A discarded implement wheel or truck tire makes a suitable form for casting the concrete base.
