Portable Calf Creep Feeder

This plan provides construction details of a small self-feeder equipped for use as a calf-creep feeder. The feeder is built on skids for portability and low to the ground so that only calves can use it. It accommodates twelve calves at one time. The feeder section is V-bottomed for self-feeding, and holds about 2.75 m³ (90 ft³) of feed. Roofing and sheathing are made of plywood and the frame is made of 38 x 89 mm (2 x 4 in.) and 38 x 140 mm (2 x 6 in.) lumber.
